Rochochil Li K`íche means House of the Forest, in Spanish Casa del Bosque. Welcome to Casa del Bosque, located in the area known as Las Verapaces. It is a natural paradise and habitat of the National Bird: El Quetzal.
It is situated 6.2 miles from the Central park of Cobán,
the largest city of Alta Verapaz, just in Sachisay Village in San Juan Chamelco. This place has a very large cultural and natural richness of the Mayan people who speak Q'eqchi language and keep their traditions, transmited from one generation to another orally.

From the road to San Juan Chamelco, in the KM 216 you will find the first entrance, a red painted gate and then passing through a Tea Plantation (Chirrepeco) exclusive of Guatemala.
From the largest city of Cobán you have to travel 4 miles on paved road and 2.5 miles on non paved road
The second entrance is located at Km 218, called Chio entrance just after the Exon Gas Station and the roofed court yard, in this point you have to take the non paved road on your right to get to the property.
