Trapiche Museum of San Jeronimo: This interesting museum was inaugurated on July 27th of 1999 and is formed by 3 halls that host and exhibit archaeological pieces, popular art and handicrafts: You will know about dances and numismatic pieces from the year 1500 A.D.

Among all these pieces, perhaps the must impressive is a Pelton Wheel brought from Europe in 1835 which is moved by a water flow, as well as the Noria Wheel, moved by cattle to crush the sugar cane. San Jeronimo, is located 6 miles fron Salama, 95 miles from the Capital City.
Grottos of Chicoy: Facing the entrace to a cave almost 60 meters in diameter in facing nature at is best.
 
The stalagtites hang almost 15 meters from the hight arched  ceiling of  these caves.
 
It is a natural cathedral and the indiginous people of the region use them in there traditional ceremonies as they have for centuries.

From the road to San Juan Chamelco, in the KM 216 you will find the first entrance, a red painted gate and then passing through a Tea Plantation (Chirrepeco) exclusive of Guatemala.
From the largest city of Cobán you have to travel 4 miles on paved road and 2.5 miles on non paved road
 
The second entrance is located at Km 218, called Chio entrance just after the Exon Gas Station and the roofed court yard, in this point you have to take the non paved road on your right to get  to the  property.
